Revlon COLORSTAY foundation in 240 Medium Beige is the shade that i use, it is slightly lighter than my skin tone but i can get away with it because it blends very well. I bought mine as SM department store for 800++ a couple of months ago. When used alone i find it less hydrating and takes time to blend, because i have dry skin it can also form patches when i sweat a little on my forehead. One thing i like about this foundation is it lasts for a long time.. 16 hours or so.
Last month i came across this BB cream, Maybelline's clear smooth 8 in 1 skin transformer BB cream. i used this alone for a month but i wasn't contented of the coverage that it was giving me though it was so hydrating and i love it! bought it at Watsons for 249php.
What better way to join their powers together?
mixem! i mix a pea size amount of colorstay foundation and a pump the Maybelline BB cream on the back of my hand, mix them together and use a stippling brush to evenly distribute the product on your face.
the mixture can depend on the coverage you desire:
bb cream > Foundation = less coverage
bb cream < Foundation = more coverage
bb cream = foundation = medium coverage
